BIOGRAPHY

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay- Tomasini technique is oil with a spatula. He often places various colors on the spatula and applies them, looking for their sensitive relationships. His inspiration is clearly Canadian. On his first trip to Canada, it coincided with the beginning of autumn and he was seduced by painting from nature, with all the shades of red that were appearing. He began to experiment with color and came to develop a vision of the landscape that I have been completing over the years. He is influenced by Riopelle and the automatists led by Borduas. However, he understands the concern to cause sensations and describe intimate atmospheres through color.lives in Paris since 2014. He ́s got an Art Degree from Saint August University in Arequipa-Peru( 2000) He also studied Contemporary Art at Federlnde Bernambuco University (Brasil 2001); and Engraving at Piratininga Art School in Sao Paulo( Brasil 2012/2015). From 1999 to present day he’s been in 30 solo shows and hundreds of collective shows in America, Europe, África and Asia. Since his arrival in France, he’s been working and participating simultaneously in various Parisian Art fairs: the Salon d'Automne( 2017,2018,2019), the Salon des Beaux-Arts at the Carrousel du Louvre(2016,2017,2018), the Réalités Nouvelles (2015,2016,2017,2018,2019), Art Capital of the Grand Palais(2018,2019), the Salon of Versailles(2016), the Salon of Charenton (2018,2019) as well as International watercolor Biennials such as Arcachon, Narbonne and Brioude.
