BIOGRAPHY

Born in Ambato - Ecuador - Chavez, a painter with a career of 30 years of professional life, has a record of 324 group exhibitions and 43 individual ones, 47 awards and recognitions in Ecuador and the world, and his works are in museums and private collections in America, Europe and Asia, his life He has also been professionally complemented as an art teacher for 22 years and has third-level professional degrees as a secondary school teacher and a Bachelor of Fine Arts that he obtained with honors at the State University of Bolivar in Ecuador, his work has four genres which are the Andean cave landscape, the realistic naturalistic landscape, magical realism and conceptual surrealism, handles all pictorial techniques and his work is projected into the context of universal art with great force. Once he finished this intense training, the artist focused on a step-by-step learning process with another well-known art “Maestro” Ermenegildo Sabat.  This is the time when the artist falls totally in love with the magic of “Drawing” and the “Watercolor” expressions.
