Have the pleasure to invite you to the Opening Reception;
titled “LATIN AMERICAN & CARIBBEAN ROOTS” / "RACINES LATINO-AMÉRICAINES ET CARAÏBES"
As part of the month of Spanish Heritage and Culture celebrations, Terra Art is pleased to present its twelfth consecutive Art Exhibition of Latin America art titled "Latin American & Caribbean Roots". The exhibition will be held from October 14-16 in the Jean Piggott Place of the City of Ottawa, 110 Laurier Ave. W. Ottawa.
Terra Art, with more than 11 years of experience promoting different international and local artists will this year bring together the works of 29 painters from the Americas and Caribbean countries, with the usual support of the diplomatic missions and other supporters of the arts. The opening of the exhibition will be on October 14 at 6.00pm. until the 16, with gallery hours of 10a.m. to 6p.m.
This year, Terra Art is haven some great musicians present; Duo Carlos & Cesar with the accompanied by one member of “Colores Andinos” .
This year, the exhibition will highlight a group of famous and acclaimed Latin American artists who were invited by their countries thanks to the auspices of their respective Embassies in Canada: Kitts and Nevis, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Paraguay, Peru, & Uruguay.
During the exhibition, TERRA ART will have the honor of publicly recognizing the support of many years of collaboration of three distinguished individuals for their unconditional support to Latin American Art:
- His Worship Jim Watson (Mayor of Ottawa)
-His Excellency, Martin Vidal, (Ambassador of Uruguay to Canada),
- Mrs. Rosa Galvez (Senator – Quebec), (not confirm) and
-Also, we will recognize the memory of Mrs. Ana Ramirez (Terra Art P.R. for 4 years). Whom is not with us now. RIP, a silence for her memory.

Ambassador of Peru to Canada Roberto Rodriguez, and Finalizing with few words, Rosa Galvez (Senator – Quebec), of the Following the presentation will be a reception where interaction with some artists.
