By turning artists into envoys, the idea is to extend public diplomacy beyond the embassies into local communities.
Terra Art has engaged with hundreds of participants globally, including artists, galleries, universities, and private collectors. There have been over 50 exhibits installed in the galleries in Ottawa/Gatineau, Toronto, Montreal, Puerto Rico and Peru as well as in the Latin American diplomatic facilities in Canada.
To further the mission of Latin American Embassies for cross-cultural exchange, Terra Art creates temporary exhibitions for Latin American embassies, residences, and permanent collections.
Terra Art works with the Latin American Diplomatic Misisons and cultivates and maintains partnerships with artists, collectors, universities, galleries, and foundations, ensuring that the art chosen is compelling, and that the exhibitions and collections are engaging, informative, and relevant for the intended audience.
