BIOGRAPHY
Born in Catrilo, Argentina - Aranda is a self-taught artist who after one year in the “Manuel Belgrano School of Fine Arts” decided to leave the school to become an apprentice with the “professor” Domingo Tellechea who taught him “Restoration and Engraving”.
Once he finished this intense training, the artist focused on a step-by-step learning process with another well-known art “Maestro” Ermenegildo Sabat. This is the time when the artist falls totally in love with the magic of “Drawing” and the “Watercolor” expressions.
Jorge Aranda has had many Solo and Group Exhibitions in the past 18 years. These exhibitions brought his work to every corner of Argentina and other countries.
His art work has been exhibited and sold in Argentina, United States, Canada, Italy, Belgium, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland, Russia, Australia, Japan, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Cuba.
