Terra Art | Contemporary Latin Art - A World of Art & Inspiration with Lilia Faulkner

Celebrating Canada's 150th Anniversary!

Tuesday, October 24 @ 6.30pm.

Born in Lima, Peru - Jorge is a Painter, musician and sound designer. His work are increasingly abstract, textural, and symbolic, but the emphasis on essential forms rich in colour and movement.

The seventeenth century is in all respects the golden age of Spanish painting. Italian influence was largely rejected in favor of Mannerist formulas and a severe and noble style which used chiaroscuro not for the sake of a theatrical aestheticism, but to create a more urgent sense of drama. Here my remarks about the baroque period.

Dear Clients, Customers and Friends,

I have been, for the last few years organizing and managing Latin American Art exhibits at the behest of Embassies or in some cases groups of artists. I have also been receiving requests from Embassies that are considered other than “Latin American” and I have decided to offer this service to any Embassy, National organization, or artists that would be interested in this service.

It is with pleasure that I can also announce that I have joined forces with "The Sussex" Gallery that assists in the delivery of a professional and cohesive Art Exhibition Service.

Going forward, I will be able to secure for you the exciting architecture, 2200 sq ft main floor and mezzanine space with some stone walled gallery at "The Sussex", 531 Sussex Drive, Ottawa K1N 6Z6 on preferred dates and at a favorable commercial rate.

It is my intention to keep a calendar of events for the gallery so that I might advise you as to the best time to hold your event.

Every client has unique needs, and clients have their own vision of what it is that they want and how they would like it promoted. To that end I will offer a basic fee schedule with many open options to meet your needs and to fit your budget.

To see the gallery facilities that are available, you may reach me through "The Sussex" gallery or directly at (613) 293-7060

The Saint Brigid's facility may also still be used, pending avaliability.

I look forward to working with you in the future
